Bridging Theory and Practice: HRM Lecture 2025 Successfully Completed

In February 2025, Dr. Naemi Jacob and Dr. Marina Pletscher welcomed around 100 students to this year’s Human Resource Management (HRM) lecture at the University of Lucerne.

Building on experience from previous years, the lecture was designed to combine theoretical foundations with practical insights from the field. This semester, we were pleased to welcome guest lecturers Dr. Eva-Maria Aulich, Dr. Heidi Bodenmann, Dr. Stephan Hostettler, Matthias Mölleney, Martina Morard, Christian Staub, and Dr. Silvan Winkler. Their inspiring and practice-oriented contributions offered students valuable new perspectives on current HRM topics.

The lecture took place in a hybrid format that has been well received over the past semesters. This format offered students flexibility and various options to participate. While the main sessions and discussions took place on campus in the lecture hall, students also had the flexibility to join live via ZOOM or watch recordings at a later time (with the exception of the guest lectures, which were held exclusively on site).

In June, 85 students successfully passed the final exam. We sincerely thank our guest lecturers for sharing their valuable insights and our students for their active participation and commitment throughout the semester. We wish everyone a relaxing, sunny and well-deserved summer break — and all the best for their future studies and careers!
