Innovation Partnership Grants

Innovation Partnership Grantssupport the establishment of a collaboration between Switzerland-​based academic researchers and non-​academic “innovation agents” in East and Southeast Asia.

Application deadline: 31 July 2022
Eligible applicants: postdoctoral students, senior scientists, or professors of Swiss federal and cantonal universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of teacher education, and public research institutes.
Eligible Asian partners: Innovation agents must be senior staff affiliated with a company, start-​up, innovation park or similar agency in the partner country. University scientists from the partner country can participate as third parties.
Funding: max. 20k CHF for a project of up to 12 months

Opportunity Grants

The Opportunity Grants support initiatives of researchers from Swiss universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of teacher education, and public research institutes, linked to specific events or incidents in East and Southeast Asia.

Application deadline: 31 July 2022
Eligible applicants: postdoctoral students, senior scientists, or professors of Swiss federal and cantonal universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of teacher education, and public research institutes.
Eligible Asian partners: Senior academic partners affiliated with a university or a public research institute in the partner country.
Funding: max. 50k CHF for a project of up to 12 months

Young Researchers’ Exchange Programme - Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS)

Application deadline: 30 June 2022
Eligible candidates: doctoral students (in exceptional cases Master students and early career postdoctoral students) from Swiss universities, universities of applied sciences, and public research institutes. The call is open to all scientific disciplines including social sciences and humanities. Type of funding: Candidates apply for a 3 to 6-month fellowship.

Credit Suisse is back with the annual Credit Suisse Global Coding Challenge and registrations are now open to all university students across the globe! The competition will run from September 27 to October 10, 2021. Students across the globe will attempt to code their most efficient algorithms to nine coding problems ranging from EASY to ADVANCED. Solutions are scored by our automated evaluator and students are placed on regional and global leaderboards.

The student at the top of our global leaderboard will be crowned our Global Coding Champion and walk away with a MacBook Pro. Exciting prizes also up for grabs in the other categories include the iPhone, iPad Pro and much more. Top 100 participants on the leaderboard will be rewarded with attractive goodies and incentives. In the past editions, following the competition, those who had done well had joined our prestigious Summer Internship or Technology Analyst positions.
