Alice Pontoglio is a research assistant and a PhD student for Professor Manuel Oechslin’s chair for International Economics since June 2025.
She completed a BSc in International Economics and Management at Bocconi University in 2021. Afterwards, she pursued a MSc in Economic and Social Sciences at Bocconi University, where she took part in a Joint Degree. By spending the second year of her Master’s Degree in Belgium, she obtained the Master's in Economics, general, research focus at Université Catholique de Louvain. Prior to joining the University of Lucerne, she worked as research assistant at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.
Her research interests are in the field of Economic Development, Economic Growth, and International Economics.
