Short biography (in English) 

Stefan Gysin, MD, PhD, MME, is a physician and medical educator. After studying medicine and completing his medical doctorate at the University of Basel, he initially worked in internal medicine. He subsequently completed a PhD in Health Sciences at the University of Lucerne and a Master of Medical Education (MME) at the University of Bern.

Since 2020, he has served as Program Director of the Joint Medical Master of the Universities of Lucerne and Zurich and as Deputy Head of the Dean’s Office for Education and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, University of Lucerne. His academic work focuses particularly on curriculum design, faculty development, and interprofessional education. He is also actively engaged in teaching and research across these areas.
