About the speaker
Lawrence O. Gostin is Distinguished University Professor and Founding Director of the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University, Washington, DC. He also directs the WHO Collaborating Center on National and Global Health Law and advises WHO and the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body on the Pandemic Agreement. His work has guided global responses to major health challenges and shaped policies on human rights, global solidarity, and pandemic preparedness.
