Prof. Dr. med. Ulf Christoph Schneider ist seit 1. Januar 2022 als Klinikleiter und Chefarzt der Klinik für Neurochirurgie am LUKS tätig. Er promovierte 2007 an der Medizinischen Fakultät Mannheim der Universität Heidelberg. Seine Habilitation erlangte er 2016 an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Er war bis 2021 an der Charité in Berlin, der renommiertesten neurochirurgischen Klinik Deutschlands tätig und leitete einen von drei Standorten der Klinik. Seine klinischen Schwerpunkte liegen in der Neuroonkologie mit Schwerpunkt kraniale Tumorchirurgie und Schädelbasischirurgie, der Epilepsiechirurgie und der vaskulären Neurochirurgie.
