PD Dr. med. Christine Brambs, geboren 1978, ist per 18. Oktober 2022 zur Titularprofessorin für Medizinische Wissenschaften ernannt worden. Christine Brambs studierte Humanmedizin in Leipzig. Dort absolvierte sie auch ihre medizinische Dissertation. Ihre Venia Legendi erhielt Christine Brambs für das Fach Frauenheilkunde und Geburtshilfe an der medizinischen Fakultät der Technischen Universität München. Ihre fachärztliche Weiterbildung hat sie von 2005 bis 2009 an der Yale University (USA) absolviert, ihre Subspezialisierung in der gynäkologischen Onkologie ebenfalls an der Yale University von 2009 bis 2012. Sie ist Fachärztin für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe mit Subspezialisierung in der gynäkologischen Onkologie. Bis zu ihrem Wechsel an das LUKS war Christine Brambs Leitende Oberärztin sowie stellvertretende Klinikdirektorin der Frauenklinik der TU München und hatte die Leitung des Gynäkologischen Krebszentrums inne. Seit Oktober 2020 ist sie Chefärztin und Co-Leiterin der Frauenklinik des LUKS und leitet am LUKS das Gynäkologische Tumorzentrum.
