Ombudsman and Reporting Office
The Ombudsman’s Office is available to students and staff who find themselves in a conflict situation that cannot be resolved through direct discussion. It is particularly well-placed to provide prompt assistance where there is a relationship of dependency between the parties involved. The Office operates independently of the University in terms of both staffing and organisation.
By resolution of 24 March 2021, the University Council established a reporting office, independent of University staff, to which suspected or actual instances of abuse and misconduct by University staff can be reported.
