Peter G. Kirchschlaeger has been conducting research on the ethics of so-called artificial intelligence for decades and advocates for a global human rights-based regulation of "AI" and for the creation of an International Data-Based Systems Agency (IDA) at the UN to enforce this global regulation. On August 18, 2026, he was appointed advisor to Pope Leo XIV. Swiss television SRF accompanied him to a lecture at the “Hightech Zentrum Aargau”.
