About «cogito»
“cogito – The University of Lucerne’s Knowledge Magazine” is aimed at anyone interested in research and academic topics. First published in June 2018, the magazine is available both in print and online: “cogito” is published as a print magazine twice a year, in the spring and autumn. The magazine is available to subscribe to free of charge and is available to pick up for free at various locations in the University of Lucerne building, which is centrally located next to the railway station and the KKL.
Furthermore, ‘cogito’ is also available online; its content can be viewed and read optimally on a variety of devices. New articles are published regularly on the magazine’s website – even outside the print edition’s publication cycle. This serves as a complement to the existing news channel, which tends to focus on quick and concise information.
‘cogito’ (from the Latin: ‘I think’) is produced by the University Communications team. It is the successor to the publication ‘uniluAKTUELL’, which was discontinued after 60 issues and has been completely revamped.
