Language courses

In the spring semester of 2023 a German course at A1.1 level for complete beginners will be offered for students at the University of Lucerne. The course fee is CHF 250 and the number of places is limited. Further information and details on course registration can be found here. Registration will be possible from the 1st of February.

In the spring semester 2023 a German course at A2 level will be offered at the University of Lucerne. This A2 German course allows students with some previous knowledge of German to further consolidate the every day expressions learnt in previous courses.
The course fee is CHF 250 and the number of places is limited. More information on the course can be found here. Registration will be possible from the 1st of February.

The University of Lucerne offers an 'English speaking and writing C1 and above' course in the srping semester 2023 which specifically focuses on speaking and writing for university and work. Students from all study levels are welcome. The course fee is CHF 250 and the number of places is limited.

The University of Lucerne offers an A1.2 Italian course. This course is aimed primarily at students who completed the A1.1 Italian course in the fall semester 2022, however other students may join if they have sufficient knowledge of Italian. Students from all study programmes are welcome. The course fee ist CHF 250. The number of places is limited.

Modern Hebrew is offered at the Institute for Jewish-Christian Research (IJCF). Ivrit is an integral part of Jewish Studies/Judaic Studies. The courses are open to all students. More information (in German), can be found here.
