The Trade Agreement Provisions on Electronic-commerce and Data (TAPED) Dataset has been updated for 2026. Publicly introduced in 2020, TAPED builds on a research effort dating back to 2016/2017 and has since developed into a comprehensive open-access resource mapping digital trade provisions in preferential trade agreements (PTAs) concluded since 2000.

The 2026 release expands the Dataset to 467 agreements, incorporating the latest developments in digital trade rulemaking. Over the years, TAPED has grown alongside the rapidly evolving landscape of digital trade regulation, providing researchers, policymakers, and practitioners with detailed insights into the design and evolution of digital trade rules.
