Noemi Honegger is a member of the network "The Economy of Francesco" initiated by Pope Francis
Noemi Honegger, research associate and doctoral candidate at the Institute of Social Ethics ISE at the University of Lucerne, is a member of the international network “The Economy of Francesco” (EoF).
The network goes back to the initiative of Pope Francis to invite young economists, entrepreneurs as well as “change makers” to Assisi in order to think about a humane, sustainable and inclusive economy. The originally planned meeting in May 2020 was finally held online in November 2020. The “Economy of Francesco” (EoF) is today a global movement that networks people with the aim of redesigning the economy and making it sustainable.
One of the current projects is the EoF School “Rethinking economics starting from the commons”. In this context, Noemi Honegger, as a member of the thematic working group “Finance and Humanity”, gave a reply to the lecture by Prof. Alex Edmands (London Business School).
