Corona: cancellation of workplaces, earlier evening closing

In order to contain the Corona pandemic, the Federal Council and the Canton of Lucerne have decided on more stringent measures. Among other things, this means that only loans are possible at the ZHB location Uni/PH and that the library and building will close earlier.

Due to the latest decisions of the Federal Council and the tightened measures of the Canton of Lucerne that go beyond this, there are various adjustments. These will apply until 22 January 2021, unless otherwise stated.

ZHB location in the Uni/PH building
Only loans are possible in the library; the reading and work stations remain closed. The library closes earlier Monday through Friday, at 6:30 p.m. each day. The planned Sunday openings for students of the University and the PH Lucerne – the next one would have been on December 13 – are cancelled. There will be no ZHB events.

Uni/PH building
The building closes to the public and students as early as 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Lecture halls, seminar rooms, tutorial in the Uni/PH building
These rooms are closed for students. Students will therefore not have access to workstations in the Uni/PH building.

Mensa
The Mensa is expected to remain closed until the end of January.

University Sports (HSCL)
The HSCL is switching to a digital-only sports program through and including Sunday, January 24. There will be no physical program.

Status: December 12, 10 p.m.
