Research IT
Research IT ensures that researchers at the University of Lucerne have access to modern, secure and needs-based IT infrastructures and services.
Research IT is the central point of contact for IT matters relating to research at the University of Lucerne. As an independent unit within the Vice President's Office for University Development, it systematically identifies the IT needs of researchers, faculties and institutes, coordinates the procurement of suitable hardware and software solutions, and maintains a transparent service catalogue for research IT services. In doing so, it works closely with the faculties, the central IT operations team and external partners, thereby ensuring that researchers have access to a modern, secure and needs-based IT environment.
