Ela Smajic is a PhD candidate and research assistant at the Chair of Prof. Dr. iur. Christoph Bauer. Alongside her academic work at the University of Lucerne, she works at the Swiss Sports Tribunal. She studied law at the University of Basel and was admitted to the Swiss bar in 2023.
Her career has included positions at the Civil Court and the Supreme Court of the Canton of Basel-Stadt, an international law firm in Zurich and Geneva, and an audit and consulting firm in Zurich.
