Since 2020 the ALUMNI Organisation has been awarding the «Alumna of the Year» and «Alumnus of the Year» prizes. The award is given to graduates of the University of Lucerne who have made a special contribution to society, science, business or culture through their work and achievements. The award is presented during the annual Dies Academicus.
