Dr. Tarcisio Gazzini is a Consultant for the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR)and a member of the International LawAssociation, Committee on Non State Actors. He has previously taught at the Universities of Padua and Glasgow. He has published a monograph onThe Changing Rules on the Use of Force in International Law and several articles on international economic law, foreign investment law, collective security, regional organisations and economic sanctions. He is currently completing a monograph on The Interpretation of International Investment Treaties and editing a collective work on The Sources of Rights and Obligations in Investment Law. He is a member of the International Law Commission Committee on non-state actors and of the editorial board of the Leiden Journal of International Law.
