Doctoral student at the Lucerne Graduate School in Ethics LGSE at the Institute of Social Ethics ISE at the Faculty of Theology, University of Lucerne. Research Project on implementation of the Human Right of Education and Human Rights Education in public libraries, supervised by Prof. Dr. Peter G. Kirchschlaeger.
Studies at Stuttgart Media University in Library and Media Management, graduation as librarian (Dipl.). Extra occupational Master´s program Educational Management at the Institute for Educational Management at the Ludwigsburg University of Education.
As part of her master's thesis, she conducted research on educational offers for migrants at the EU's external borders in relation to the central Mediterranean route.
For the past 10 years director of a public community library with a focus on promoting reading and media literacy, as well as conceptual management and development of the institution.
Research Interests
Research project with the working title "Public libraries as a place for the implementation of the human right to education and human rights education – project for the development of sustainable services for adults with a history of flight”.
