New Research Cluster at the Department of Political Science
A new research group—the Lucerne Cluster for Configurational Methods (LUCCS)—has been established at the Department of Political Science. The cluster works on so-called “configurational” methods, their methodology and their use in addressing empirical problems. Configurational methods have gained considerably in popularity in recent years, in the social sciences in general as well as political science in particular. LUCCS, as an institution that is internationally unique, contributes to defining the state of the art in this field of research. The current members are Prof. Dr. Joachim Blatter, Prof. Dr. Alrik Thiem, Dr. Lusine Mkrtchyan, Francesco Veri and David Sanchez.
