Multilingualism survey
Eurodoc is conducting a super small survey about multilingual practices in academic publishing that will take more than 3 minutes of your time. You can find the survey here, and if you want to know more about the idea behind, you can read about it on Eurodoc's website.
Eurodoc working groups
Eurodoc has 7 working groups centered on different topics that any doctoral candidates or early career researchers in Europe can join:
- doctoral training
- research assessment and research career
- employment conditions and welfare (our Eurodoc delegate, Joanna Rutkowska, is a co-coordinator of this working group)
- open science
- research and society
- mental health and wellbeing
What the working groups do depends on their coordination every year, but previous activities included: writing a policy paper or report, creating a survey, organising events, etc. The working groups usually meet every 1–2 months. Signing up just means that you are added to the mailing list, not that you are committing to be there every time. Even if you can only join one or two meetings in a year, it would be very helpful to the working group coordinators, because they can receive input from you on the current tasks they are engaged in. Please sign up if you are interested in any of the topics! If you have any questions about the working groups, you can email actionuni's Eurodoc delegate Joanna at joanna.rutkowska. @ actionuni.ch
