Work reference / Interim Report

Upon termination of the employment contract the employee receives a work reference relating to the type and duration of the employment, as well as his/her achievements and conduct. Employees may also request an interim report.

Work references are certificates that contain all the essential information required for assessment of employee performance and conduct during the employment period. The contents must be truthful, but the phrasing should remain favourable. Individual features for observation are assessed with reference to specific work situations, taking into account the overall assessment period. If requested by the employee, the reference must be limited to details regarding the type and duration of the employment contract.
