Global Lounge

The International Relations Office is excited to invite you to our university’s Global Lounge – an opportunity to connect, share experiences and enjoy a warm, welcoming space with our growing international community. During the fall semester 2026, we always meet on the first Monday of the month, the next Global Lounge takes place:

Location: Café Baloo (in the university building)

The Global Lounge is designed to bring together students and staff from across the globe for a casual meet-up over a drink. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, share your cultural experiences or just relax in a friendly environment, this is the event for you. Christmas Event for internationals@UNILU: 

The International Relations Office is happy to invite international students at the University of Lucerne to a Christmas event: You are invited to visit the Neubad Christmas Market with us on

Workshop Intercultural Communication Skills

The University of Lucerne together with the Institute of Communication & Leadership (Lucerne) organizes workshops on intercultural communication ; one of the main objectives of this workshop is to develop strategies to deal with intercultural challenges when studying and working at the University of Lucerne.
