The 6th Law and Economics Conference was held in April 2017 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lucerne. The participants discussed various law and economics questions arising from the worldwide persecution of the so-called "Energiewende" (energy transition). The event was organized by the University of Lucern together with the University of Notre Dame Law School.

The 5th Law and Economics Conference was held in April 2016 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lucerne. The event focused on "Environmental Law and Economics" and was organized in partnership with the University of Notre Dame Law School.
