Dr. iur. Rorick Daniel Tovar
Rorick Tovar Galván is a Peruvian and – since 2018 – Swiss jurist. He obtained a law degree from the University of Balearic Islands (Spain) and completed a LL.M. degree with honors at the University of Bern before holding a PhD at this university. His doctoral thesis was awarded the distinction summa cum laude. He is a member of the Balearic Islands Bar Association and admitted to practice law in Spain. Currently, Rorick Tovar Galván works as Lecturer and Research Assistant at the University of Bern and as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Luzern in the SNF Project “The Hague Principles and Beyond”. His research interests concern conflict of laws, economic analysis of law, contract law and marriage law.
