German A1.1 for beiginners
The language course is open to students at all levels of study at the University of Lucerne and is aimed at participants without prior knowledge.
Learning objectives: Participants can express themselves in simple sentences when their conversation partners speak slowly and clearly. They are also able to understand and use everyday and familiar expressions (e.g. information about themselves, their work or their environment).
Course content: Being able to introduce oneself and others. Able to answer simple questions and ask questions themselves. Get to know and use expressions in everyday situations. Understand simple conversations.

Online registration will open on 01.02.2024 on the German version of this page. The number of places is limited. Please make sure that once you have completed the online form, you check your answers and submit.
Teaching material: The coursebook "Deutsch in der Schweiz A1".
An invoice for the course fees will be sent to registered students during the first weeks of semester.
Certificate of achievement, ECTS points and workload
2 ECTS points can be earned for participation in the semester course. Please note however, that it is fully at the discretion of your home faculty, whether these credits can be transferred to your study programme.
Requirements: regular and active participation in class (max. 4 absences); achievement of the required performance in assessments.
Course certificate: Students who attended the course regularly and participated actively can request a course certificate.
