Exams

Students doing courses at the Faculty of Economics & Management must register to sit exams via the UniPortal. This rule also applies to students of Political Economy. Students who do not register may not sit exams or acquire credits!

Examination session Fall semester 2025

Unless otherwise stated in the individual events, the following dates and times apply:

Registration period for block courses and courses with limited participants:

Exam periods (excl. public holidays):

MA Eco+Man / Optional compulsory subjects:

9 to 19 December 2025 and 5 to 9 January 2026

Compulsory subjects 1st – 6th semester BA Eco+Man:
12 to 23 January 2026

Results:ongoing, until 5 February 2026

Important notes:

  • Block courses: The “Duration” field on the course in the course catalog shows whether it is a block course
  • Limited participants: The “Limitation” field on the course in the course catalog shows whether there is a limitation of participants
  • Special courses before the start of the semester have their own deadlines. These are noted in the “Proof of Performance” field on the course in the course catalogue
  • For courses from other faculties, their deadlines and exam periods apply.
  • In exceptional cases, it is possible that individual grades are not yet available at the time the grades are announced. They will be updated as soon as possible

 

Examination session Spring semester 2026

Unless otherwise stated in the individual events, the following dates and times apply (the type and duration of the examination will be determined by the lecturers and announced in the examination schedule, so that extraordinary examination dates and registration deadlines are possible):

* Exception Information Management: Exam takes place in the MA Eco+Man / Optional compulsory subjects period. Repeat examination takes place in the period Compulsory subjects 1st - 6th semester BA Eco+Man.

Deadlines for Bachelor and Master Theses

Submission deadline Fall semester 2025:
Thursday 11 December 2025 (Confirmation of graduation: February, Diploma handover: March)

Submission deadline Spring semester 2026:
Thursday 14 May 2026 (Confirmation of graduation: July, Diploma handover: September)

If the thesis is not submitted on time, it cannot be considered for the diploma awarding in the respective semester.

Opening hours Dean's Office Faculty of Economics & Management:
Monday and Tuesday 9 a.m. to 12.15 a.m. / Thursday 9 a.m. to 10.15 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4.15 p.m.

During lecture-free periods there are no official opening hours.
