Global Lounge

The International Relations Office is excited to invite you to our university’s Global Lounge – an opportunity to connect, share experiences and enjoy a warm, welcoming space with our growing international community. During the spring semester 2026, we always meet on the first Monday of the month, the next Global Lounge takes place:

Location: Café Baloo (in the university building)

The Global Lounge is designed to bring together students and staff from across the globe for a casual meet-up over a drink. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, share your cultural experiences or just relax in a friendly environment, this is the event for you. Workshop Intercultural Communication Skills

In the fall semester 2025 the University of Lucerne together with the Institute of Communication & Leadership (Lucerne) held a workshop on intercultural communication ; one of the main objectives of this workshop is to develop strategies to deal with intercultural challenges when studying and working at the University of Lucerne.

The next Intercultural Workshop will be organized in the fall semester 2026
