Professor Dr. Barbara Graham-Siegenthaler's research focuses on Swiss and International Private Law, Comparative Private Law and Inheritance Law.

She is the author of the volume on property law (Art. 641–654a of the Swiss Civil Code) in the Berner Kommentar, which was published by Stämpfli Verlag in 2022. In addition, she is a co-author of the Stämpfli textbook on property law (Sachenrecht), with the most recent edition released in 2023.
She also contributed to a comprehensive legal impact assessment of Swiss security interests in movable property, conducted on behalf of SECO and the Federal Office of Justice.
Furthermore, she regularly prepares legal opinions on various topics within private law.
