Faculty of Behavioural Sciences and Psychology
Since autumn 2024, the University of Lucerne offers a Bachelor's programme in Psychology, and from autumn 2027 a Master's programme. Four specialisations are planned for the Master’s programme, all of which perfectly complement the existing range of courses throughout Switzerland and for which there is a proven need: Experimental Rehabilitation Science and Neuropsychology, Psychology and Law, Child and Adolescent Psychology, and Clinical Psychology.
The Behavioral Research Lab has been in operation since 2025 and offers a wide range of methodological opportunities for teaching and empirical research.
At the end of August 2026, the University of Lucerne’s Center for Psychotherapy will open, enabling the Faculty to contribute to psychotherapeutic care and training in Lucerne.
