Records Management and University Archives
The University of Lucerne Archives are responsible for preserving valuable records of the university's history.

The task of the University Archives is to ensure that business and historically relevant documents created at the University of Lucerne – both physical and electronic – are transferred to the Lucerne State Archives for permanent archiving.
To this end, the documents are managed throughout their entire life cycle, from creation to archiving or destruction. The records manager advises users on topics such as the creation, storage and evaluation of documents to ensure the traceability, legal certainty and efficiency of the processes.
