Postdoctoral Researcher (Activity Rate 50%)
Responsibilities
- Your key task is to conduct independent, high-quality quantitative research in the fields of strategic management and/or marketing, with the clear objective of publishing in leading international peer-reviewed journals.
- Other tasks include general scientific and administrative activities related to your position at the University of Lucerne.
Requirements
- completed Ph.D. in strategic management, marketing, computer science, or a closely related field with a strong quantitative orientation.
- Excellent quantitative research skills and demonstrated proficiency in statistical programming and data analysis (e.g., R, Python, Stata). Experience with causal inference methods, large-scale data analysis, or experimental designs is a strong asset.
- Demonstrated potential or track record of publishing quantitative research in leading peer-reviewed academic journals.
- High degree of independence, reliability, and intrinsic motivation for rigorous empirical research.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple research projects in parallel.
- Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in German is beneficial but not mandatory.
