Margarida Matos is a PhD candidate since May 2022. Her field of interest is Empirical Political Economics. She works in the SNF project «The effects of geographical representation on legislators, voters, and economic policy» under the supervision of Professor Simon Lüchinger and Professor Lukas Schmid. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from NOVA School of Business and Economics in Lisbon. While at Nova SBE, she worked as a research assistant for Professor José Tavares.
