Joel Gysel has been working as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Institute for Swiss Economic Policy since July 2023. He holds a Master's degree in Quantitative Economics and Finance from the University of St. Gallen. After his Master’s degree, he worked as an economist in the private sector for four years. As part of his doctoral studies, he will focus on the economic consequences of migration, among other topics.
