Alexander Gian-Carlo Baumann studied Law and Economics and International Management at the University of St.Gallen in Switzerland and the University of Sydney in Australia. Next to his experience in consulting in the fields of sustainability and human rights as well as international taxation, he has worked in judiciary and in business law firms in Zurich.
Mr. Baumann is Research Associate at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Klaus Mathis and Associate Director of the Lucerne Graduate Academy for Law and Economics. In his interdisciplinary PhD project, he researches on the regulation of transnational corporate responsibility. He teaches at Bachelor and Master level, such as in the Assessment tutorials in Fundamental Rights, the Assessment tutorials in State Law and the Introduction to Swiss Constitutional Law.
