13th Law and Economics Conference: Law and Economics of Crime and Punishment
On 13-14 March 2026, the 13th Law and Economics Conference on the topic of ‘Law and Economics of Crime and Punishment’ will take place at the University of Lucerne. This conference aims to analyse the foundational principles of crime and punishment from a law and economics perspective. The contributions address the incentives and effects of substantive criminal law as well as procedural law and enforcement. In addition to the theoretical discussion of the economic analysis of crime, there will be a special focus on empirical research results from criminology.
