Leandra Diem studied law at the University of Lucerne and at the Université Paris Nanterre. During her studies she worked in a law firm in Zurich. After her studies, she gained first practical experience at the Secretariat of the Competition Commission (WEKO) in Bern and at the Commercial Court of the Canton of Bern. Since October 2021, Leandra Diem has been employed as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the chair of Prof. Dr. Nicolas Diebold. She is writing her doctoral thesis in the field of public procurement and antitrust law.
