Prof. Dr. Martina Caroni, LL.M. (Yale)
The primary teaching and research interests of Professor Martina Caroni's chair are Migration Law, International Law, Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law and Constitutional Law (with particular focus on political rights, fundamental rights and organisational law). Her chair is affiliated with the Research Centre for Human Rights in Southeast Asia, which is currently being established. Professor Caroni is also involved in the NCCR On the Move and the University Research Priority "Family Change in the Context of Migration and Globalisation". She is furthermore Director of the Lucerne Academy for Human Rights Implementation and member of the Federal Commission on Migration.
Furthermore, since 1 March 2017 Martina Caroni is Vice-Rector for Teaching and International Relations.
