Prof. Dr. Martina Caroni, LL.M. (Yale)

The primary teaching and research interests of Professor Martina Caroni are Migration Law, International Law, Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law and Constitutional Law (with particular focus on political rights, fundamental rights and organisational law). Her chair is affiliated with the Research Centre for Human Rights in Southeast Asia, which is currently being established. Furthermore, since 1st March 2017 Martina Caroni is also Vice-Rector for Teaching and International Relations and since April 2023 president of the National Commission for Prevention of Torture (NKVF).
