At the University of Lucerne, we explore how communication can meaningfully address today’s most pressing challenges in health and healthcare.
We investigate how communication influences the quality and accessibility of health information, the translation of scientific knowledge into practice, and the engagement of diverse audiences through public health campaigns, digital media, and social marketing.Our work spans topics such as science communication, patient-provider interaction in the age of the infodemic, public health literacy, advocacy and the design of effective strategies to support informed decision-making and behavioral change.

With a strong interdisciplinary foundation, we connect theory and practice to develop evidence-based solutions for more resilient, inclusive, and people-centered health systems.
