About the faculty

The revision of the University Act, which came into force on 1 February 2023, created the legal basis for the Faculty of Behavioural Sciences and Psychology.

The Faculty of Behavioural Sciences and Psychology incorporates the university’s human sciences subject areas and enables interdisciplinary collaboration between the existing faculties. Behavioural sciences, as the connecting link, offer the opportunity to discover new academic ground. A research laboratory is currently being set up in which cross-faculty research programmes can be launched and implemented.

The first Bachelor's programme in Psychology will start in autumn 2024, and the Master's programme in Psychology in 2027.
