We are already in the middle of the fall semester, which offers attractive events besides the regular courses. With the additional boost of the Homecoming Party, we are heading towards the second half of the semester, when exams and their preparation will become an important topic. In this mail you will find an overview of the upcoming dates and information about events and teaching offers.

Courses before the start of the semester (spring semester 2023)

Are you already planning the next semester? Then you might be interested in the following courses: "Causal Machine Learning" will take place completely before the start of the semester, "Leadership" and "HR Lab" partially. Please make sure to check in advance whether the courses can be credited in your study program (from December onwards in the "course of study" view in the course catalogue or on request at studienberatung-wfremove-this.@remove-this.unilu.ch).

Causal Machine Learning (Master) - Knaus
Before the start of the semester: 13, 14, 15 and 17 February 2023, 10.15 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day.

HR Lab - Leveraging Science for Practice (Master) - Rutishauser
Before the start of the semester: Info event: 9 February 2023, 5.00 – 6.00 p.m. and block day: 15 February 2023 / 9.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m.
During the semester: Wednesdays from 10:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Leadership (Bachelor / Master) - May
Before the start of the semester: 13 & 14 February 2023, 10.15 a.m. - 6.00 p.m. each day
During the semester: 23 & 24 March 2023, 10:15 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. each day.

Integrating Seminar Law and Economics

Combining law and economics: As part of the Master Plus "Economics & Management", we offer the block course "Behavioural Economics and Law" (6 Cr) in spring semester 2023 together with the Faculty of Law (RF). The seminar is open to Master Plus students of the RF as well as students of the WF in the optional compulsory (Bachelor) or optional (Master) subjects.  

Binding registration via UniPortal is possible from now until Thursday, 15 December 2022. The kick-off event will take place on Friday, 2 December 2022 from 12.15 - 1.00 p.m., the seminar on Thursday/Friday, 11/12 May 2023 (in Engelberg). Further information
