Tabassom Fanaian, Registered 'Scholar at Risk'
"Human rights in the Iranian context"
Ms. Tabassom Fanaian is a scholar of political psychology and human rights and is currently a guest lecturer in religion and human rights at the MF Norwegian School of Theology. Ms. Fanaian will describe her first hand experience of violations to women's rights, the right to education and the right to life in Iran.

Dr. Chamira Samarsinghe
"Human rights and the War on Drugs"
Dr. Chamira Samarasinghe is a former Chairman/ Chief Executive Officer of the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board of Sri Lanka and currently a Master’s student of Health Sciences at the University of Lucerne. Dr. Samarasinghe will give his personal account of the circumstances which led to him and his family fleeing Sri Lanka and finding refuge in Switzerland.
