What ethnobotanical research in China, Switzerland and other places of the world tells us about plant human interaction
This talk provides insight into ethnobotanical concepts such as the continuum model at the example of medicinal and ritual plant use, or the increase of plant use versatility over time. The concepts are explained with different case studies from Eurasia. Special emphasis is placed on ritual plant use in the Tibetan cultural area and plant use change over the last two millennia in central Europe.
