Studied Religious Studies with a focus on the Cultural History of Islam in Erfurt. Doctorate in Islamic Studies at the University of Bern (2011). 2011-2013 research assistant at the Institute of Advanced Study in the Humanities and the Social Sciences and the Institute for Practical Theology at the University of Bern as well as the Erlangen Center for Islam and Law in Europe (EZIRE) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Since 2013 researcher of the Academic Services (later General Secretariat) of the University of Lucerne and from 2018 responsible for the research information system FIS. Since 2014 research assistant at the Department of Religious Studies and from 2015 researcher at the Institute for Empirical Religious Studies of the University of Bern.
