The initiative "Resource-based instrument for documenting and assessing research in the humanities and the social sciences as exemplified by theology" is a cooperation project between the University of Lucerne and the University of Fribourg. Its objective is to map, visualise and position research in theology as an example for disciplines in the humanities and the social sciences. Because of the multidisciplinary character of theology, the study should generate valuable insights not only into theological academic practice,  but also into various other disciplines (e.g., philosophy, historical studies, classical and ancient studies, social sciences). The developed evaluation analysis tool for theological research should therefore be suited for the adaptation and application to other disciplines in the humanities and the social sciences. The research project is part of the SUC-Programme 2013–2016 P–3  Performances de la recherche en sciences humaines et sociales, the follow-up project of the innovation- and cooperation project B–05 2008–2011 Mesurer les performances de la recherche.

project duration: 01.07.2013 – 31.12.2016
