In addition to specialist skills, prospective lawyers also require broad general knowledge of politics, society and the economy, and must be able to communicate skilfully and display management capabilities. They must also be able to handle conflict situations and convince with highly developed social skills.
A supplementary programme should meet the needs of both particularly able students and of the labour market in targeted fashion:
- Reinforcing specialist and extra-curricular skills through a varied support programme
- Targeted preparation for management positions in economy, academia, judiciary and administration
- Increasing competence in business administration skills, management, communication and conflict management.
