The Internet Governance Forum (IGF), convened by United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, is the global multistakeholder forum for dialogue on Internet governance issues. The forum serves to bring people together from various stakeholder groups as equals, in discussions on public policy issues relating to the Internet. The MAG plays a central role in delivering the mandates and expectations of the IGF and, in particular, in the programming of the annual forum, which will take place this year from 6th to 10th December 2021 in Katowice, Poland, on the main topics of economic and social inclusion and human rights as well as universal access and meaningful connectivity.
