Agile methods describe processes that are characterized by great flexibility, adaptability, customer and team orientation, with the principle of doing justice to an increasingly dynamic environment. The young researcher is fascinated by their diverse potential, while also observing ethically questionable principles as well as the risks of misuse of agile values: "The innovative and economic potential of agile methods has been scientifically researched - but the ethical potential has not yet been researched. I see a research
gap here, which I would like to close with a systematic and differentiated ethical analysis, because on the one hand I suspect an ethical potential in agile methods, on the other hand I also observe ethically questionable principles and values ", says Sara Ilić. "The central goal - and the associated hope - of my dissertation project is to make a small contribution to a humane world of work - because work should serve people, not the other way around," she explains.

Promotion of talented students by the Hanns Seidel Foundation

Sara Ilić is being funded for three years by the Hanns Seidel Foundation's Institute for the Promotion of Talented Students (HSS) with a total of around 61,000 francs. The institute supports students and doctoral candidates financially and ideally and also offers doctoral conferences and seminars on general and current topics from the fields of science, politics, economics and culture. The target group are students and doctoral students who achieve above-average school and academic performance and at the same time
are socio-politically committed.

Doctoral program at the Institute for Social Ethics (ISE)

The Lucerne Graduate School in Ethics (LGSE) is a doctoral program at the Institute for Social Ethics (ISE) of the Theological Faculty of the University of Lucerne. In addition to the development of the dissertation, it includes joint study projects, public disputations and selective use in the communication of scientific drafts, theories, discussion approaches and results. In addition to the scientific formation, research in a team and the development of a corresponding communication culture should be practiced and encouraged.
