Sarah Kehl is the Associate Director of the Lucerne Academy for Human Rights Implementation. Prior to taking up her current position, she obtained her Bachelor and Master Law degree from the University of Lucerne and graduated in 2015. During her studies, she attended an exchange semester at Nottingham Trent University, Great Britain. She also spent a few months in Argentina and France. In addition to her studies she worked as a research assistant at the Competence Center Management and Law at “High School for Economic Studies” in Lucerne from 2013-2015. After a one year internship at the legal department of a public administration, Ms. Kehl was a researcher for Prof. Dr. Sebastian Heselhaus at the University of Lucerne and contributed to the research project SCCER CREST (Swiss Competence Center for Research in Energy, Society and Transition) in the field of energy transition. Currently, Ms. Kehl is a PhD candidate at the University of Lucerne supervised by Prof. Dr. Sebastian Heselhaus. She is working on her dissertation in the scientific area of International Law specializing in Human Rights Law.
