CV

Having first completed a commercial education, Nina Burri studied for degrees in commercial law (BSc) at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and in law (MLaw) at the University of Lucerne and Northumbria University in Newcastle (UK). During her studies, she served a short-term legal internship at the Stiftung für das Tier im Recht (TIR), which promotes the further development of law and ethics for the protection of animals and in the relationship between humans and animals on a national and international level. Since 1 August 2019, Nina has worked for the Zurich Cantonal Police in the area of Cybercrime. In September 2019, she took up a position as academic assistant at the Chair of Legal Philosophy and Commercial Law with Prof. Malte Gruber.
